Trying new things….

In the spirit of the new year, I am going to try new things.  For instance, this post is coming from my new wordpress app on my palm pre. You gotta love technology I am also starting to move away from my post-it note obsession to online services like Remember the Milk and Evernote. So far so good but we’ll see what I finally settle on…. bright beautiful post-its or searchable lists accessible anywhere.  You’d think this would be easy buuuuuut it’s heard to break old habits. Mmmm bright florescent yellow, pink, and orange post-its….. sorry, where was I?

Oh yeah, a biggie for me this year…. I am debating switching from my book collecting ways to getting my first eReader.  There are so many more pros vs. cons but it will be hard to give up my books. At least the trees will thank me  I’m looking at getting a B&N Nook. There’s just something comforting about it being tied to a local book store that makes it seem easier to convert.

Boy giving up post its and books at the same time! Yikes! What am I doing to myself.  Well maybe some Karaoke might help… Yes I said the “K” word. After being told endlessly how fun it is, I told myself that I would get up there at least once this year. Another first for me…. I’m sure beer will be involved so the evening won’t be a total waste I just feel bad for the other people!
